What it's like
Zen-influenced, uncluttered simplicity combines with earthy Northwest colors in the guestrooms. The effect is a feeling of space, calm and light. The Penthouses have harbor views and fabulous steam showers; some have ship ladders leading up to roof decks. The Euro rooms all have access to the Harborview Lobby, where you can have your morning coffee, or evening glass of wine, looking out over the boats in the harbor and the sea and the islands just beyond.

The Inn encourages guests to "stop and smell the ocean": an in-room massage is a great place to start: both Solo and Duo massages are available.
About the design
The Inn at 123 West is the only LEED silver certified building on San Juan Island. The colorful, connected spaces span what was once an oil-storage facility for the fishing industry: the rainwater tank is designed to recall the site's industrial past.

Eat and drink
A morning coffee station provides coffee from San Juan Coffee Roasting Company—roasted just down the road. Tea is by Harney & Sons, and packaged granola is available too. Friday Harbor's restaurants are walking distance, and the Penthouses have full kitchens.
