Located in a popular tourist destination, the four properties had no trouble filling rooms on the weekends, however the mid-week business needed a boost. Shortly after joining Stash, the management team asked the Stash team to help increase the mid-week segment, while also building awareness of their properties among Stash members.
The team decided on a promotion – available at all four properties – that would offer Stash members triple points and 15% Off BAR for stays of 3 + nights (excluding weekends). Stash members needed to enter a special rate code at the time of booking to be eligible. To help build awareness for the promotion, the Stash team highlighted the promotion on the Stash Deals page and in the monthly Deals email. The New Orleans team also promoted the offer through dedicated emails to their guest database and included the information on each of the hotel’s websites.
In just 6 months, the four hotels booked 257 total room nights resulting in $56,000 in room revenue at a point cost of $7,800 for an ROI of 7.2X.
