Juneau's only downtown boutique hotel.

What it's like

Originally built in 1898 as a bakery, the Historic Messerschmidt building in downtown Juneau now houses the Silverbow Inn Hotel & Suites. Over 120 years later, this place continues to be a landmark, operating with hospitality and community pride. Designed to be a home-away-from-home, the guest experience is rich in amenities and thoughtful details. Each morning, wake up to a hearty, healthful breakfast, and enjoy 24/7 snacks, surprises, fresh-brewed coffee and tea, and a private rooftop hot tub with a stunning 3-mountain view.

Independent spirit

High latitude, great attitude.

Small touches

Whether you’re on a solo adventure, have business in the area, or are vacationing with family, you'll find your home-away-from-home. Enjoy unexpected amenities like healthy breakfasts, chocolate surprises, lux bath robes and soothing bath salts. Of course, you'll have all the standards too: super-fast WiFi, hair dryers, smart TV,  luggage storage and more.  Juneau’s only rooftop hot tub is accessible year-round.

Eat and drink

Start your day off right with a complimentary hearty and healthy breakfast. Choose from a variety of dishes including Kodiak pancakes, organic sausages, and Chef Stef's granola – a local favorite. When it's time for dinner, no need to venture far, In Bocca Al Lupo is onsite. The chef/owner is a James Beard Nominee who crafts each dish with an abundance of skill and care, and all entirely from scratch.  You'll also find 22 restaurants, distilleries and bars within walking distance. Plus a grocery store and pharmacy too.

And more

The staff at this family-owned boutique hotel go out of their way to ensure you have a spectacular stay in Juneau. While popular attractions like Mendenhall Glacier are truly amazing, the team loves to tell guests about majestic glaciers that visitors never see.
