A White Mountain mainstay awaits.
The New England Inn & Lodge has been welcoming guests to the Mount Washington Valley for more than 200 years, and the property has grown into a stay with room for more than one kind of mountain getaway.
Perfect for a quick getaway or a weeklong stay.
Some mountain properties lean hard on the scenery, trusting the view to do the work. The New England Inn & Lodge takes a quieter approach, less interested in making an impression than in making you feel at ease. Part of that is practical, with the property actively pointing visitors toward the valley's local rhythm, from the farmers market to the scenic railroad. Part of it is harder to explain, like the particular ease of a place that fits where it is.
Quaint New England charm, brought to the 21st century.
The Lodge accommodations and Log Cabins are adults-only, keeping things quiet, cozy, and built for two. Most offer in-room jetted bathtubs made for post-adventure soaking. Cottages bring a little tucked-away charm as standalone hideaways, while Garden Suites give families room to stretch out among the pines. Sandy Creek Cabin turns the mountain getaway into a duplex-style group retreat with space for the whole crew. Select dog-friendly accommodations make it easy to bring the pup along. Between adventures, you can sneak in a swim at the indoor pool house or settle in by one of the many outdoor fire pits that dot the grounds.
Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern, the onsite restaurant, was founded by two childhood friends who grew up in this valley dreaming of a place where people would enter as strangers and leave as friends. The restaurant makes good on that with booth seating for family dinners, a lively tavern side for catching a game, and mobile ordering through the Inn's guest portal. North Conway Village, a short drive away, rounds out the local dining picture.
