John Ascuaga and family opened the Nugget back in 1955 as a 60-seat coffee shop with a few slots. Today, its 29-story twin towers preside over the Reno-Sparks cityscape, with the Sierra Nevadas as stunning backdrop.
Everything you could want in a fun-filled getaway is here: a buffet of restaurants, an atrium pool with sun deck, a luxurious spa and salon, a fitness center, a games arcade, and big-name entertainment.
