Set in the slow-living town of Wimberley and situated less than a mile and a half from its town center, 7A Ranch is the ideal place to get away, soak in the local sights and connect with the people you care about the most. Nestled on the banks of the Blanco River, 7A Ranch offers plenty of river recreation, and there’s also an inviting pool and unique Old Western-era attractions. Explore, swim, shop and sightsee in a destination that’s unlike any other.
A family-owned resort for over 70 years, 7A takes much of its character from the Blanco River, the town of Wimberley and the pioneering spirit of the Czichos family that founded this charming vacation resort. Whether you choose the individual family-style cabins or the large group lodges, you’ll see that through its many years of existence, 7A continues to embody the warm and welcoming spirit that the place was founded on.
A little bit of heaven, with Hill Country hospitality and charm.
At 7A, you can enjoy the full Hill Country experience -- swimming in the Blanco, fishing on the banks or just sitting on your porch enjoying the view. With private bedrooms and kitchens and living areas, the cabins are an ideal set up for families, couples, and business travelers. For a large group, book a lodge with 10 private bedrooms, many private bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, and plenty of space for activities. There's WiFi available for all guests.
With kitchens in the cabins and lodges and grill stations available, you’ll feel right at home making your favorite foods and drinks on-site. Or venture out to one of downtown Wimberley’s delicious restaurants.
Pioneer Town is a major attraction; it’s a Western Town of the 1880s located in modern-day 7A. Some highlights: an old-time ice cream parlor, an arcade, the Opera House, Pioneer Chapel and a house made entirely of glass bottles (at the suggestion of Walt Disney himself.)
Due to the unique and varied nature of the accommodations at 7A, please see room descriptions for information on in-room amenities. Amenities may include:
Meetings + Events
No matter the size of your party or your vision, 7A offers the perfect venue for weddings. For weddings of 50 guests or fewer, Pioneer Chapel in Pioneer Town serves as a lovely backdrop for western-themed weddings. For groups of up to 150 guests, the turn-of-the-century Opera House offers the height of Victorian style with a western twist. After a wedding reception, many wedding parties take advantage of Pioneer Town’s western ambiance to have a dance under the stars. The individual cabins and units of 7A are a great place for out-of-towners to stay when attending weddings and events and are within walking distance of the venues.
