Small touches

After a long day exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park or enjoying everything that Waynesville offers, unwind in one of The Yellow House's ten luxurious rooms or suites. Each lodging option provides a full private bathroom, relaxing seating area, and gas fireplace. You'll also find cozy bathrobes, plush sheets, and thick towels in every room, so you can fully relax during your secluded mountain getaway.

Eat and drink

The homemade three-course breakfast will have you excited to jump out of bed each morning. The dishes are lovingly prepared, then served fireside in the dining room or outside on the expansive veranda. If you plan to start your day before the normal breakfast time, you can ask for it to be prepared as a "grab and go." The Yellow House also provides daily afternoon tea and baked treats for guests to indulge in — the quintessential bed and breakfast experience.

And more

Western North Carolina is known for being exceptionally dog-friendly. With countless miles of walking trails around Lake Junaluska and along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a dog park in Waynesville, and even a dog treat bakery nearby, it only makes sense for The Yellow House to welcome canine guests. The Kinsale Suite and The Cottage Suite are dog-friendly, each with private entry for your convenience (pets fees apply, subject to availability).
